Pricilla Parsad’s 'Samosa' Wins M Film Lab Spring 2023 for South Asian Writers!

Congratulations to Pricilla Parsad, winner of the M Film Lab Spring 2023 for South Asian writers. Pricilla’s deeply touching script, titled "Samosa", follows Jessica, a young woman estranged from her father due to her interracial marriage. Through interwoven moments in a grocery store frequented by them in her youth, the film explores family, cultural expectations, identity, and reconciliation. Pricilla received an option agreement, and M Film Lab plans to produce the script in 2024.
