Celebrating Cheryl Tsai Perez: Winner of M Film Lab Spring 2024!

Congratulations to Cheryl Tsai Perez, winner of the M Film Lab Spring 2024 program for Women of Color! Cheryl’s fantastic script titled "Gum Shan (Gold Mountain)" is a poignant and inspiring story set in 1876 Antioch, California, focusing on a Chinese father and his struggles amidst rising anti-Chinese sentiment. Cheryl received a 2-year option agreement from M Film Lab to produce the script.
