Nader Yousef is the winner of the Fall 2021 Program.

A Round of applause for Nader Yousef of Marcos, Texas, whose screenplay titled “Exception” took home the top award from the M Film Lab Fall 2021 program. Nader’s powerful screenplay which he workshopped under the guidance of the M Film Lab mentors, is based on all-too common real-life experiences of academics and journalists who find their freedoms stripped away and their livelihoods threatened because of their views on the Palestine-Israel conflict. The M Film Lab Board is planning to produce the dramatic short film in the coming year!
